A proper village pub — with a few surprises
Tucked into the heart of Lambley, Nottinghamshire, The Woodlark Inn is the kind of place you come for a pint and end up staying for supper.
Where Lambley comes together
The Woodlark sits on Church Street in the village of Lambley, a short hop from Nottingham and right on the edge of the Lambley Dumbles — so you can walk straight off the trails and through our door. Muddy boots and muddy paws are not just tolerated here; they're expected. We keep water and treats at the bar for four-legged visitors, and there's always room by an open fire to dry off.
We're a traditional cottage-style pub that's been thoughtfully refurbished — warm, comfortable and properly welcoming — without losing the character that makes a village local worth visiting in the first place.
Cornish seafood — shore to kitchen
We source our fish directly from award-winning Cornish fishermen, delivered shore-to-kitchen within hours. You won't find fresher seafood in a Nottinghamshire pub. Our signature Bouillabaisse — langoustines, crevettes, mussels, cod and salmon in a rich white-wine broth — tells you everything you need to know.

The Woodlark has been recognised as one of the top 15 pubs in Nottinghamshire in 2025, and named in the Telegraph's top 500 pubs in the UK. We're proud of that — and we're proud that it's built on real food, real ales and a genuinely warm welcome.
Events that keep the village talking
Every first Tuesday of the month it's Tasty Thai Tuesday; the last Sunday brings Tapas 'n' Tunes. We run beer festivals, live music nights and seasonal food events through the year. Our specials board changes weekly — there's always a reason to come back.
The Drop — events space & sports bar
Our newly opened sports bar and events space, The Drop, has a big screen for live sport and can be hired privately for parties and celebrations. Tables up to 10 guests, buffet catering available, and all within the same friendly building.
